Epiduo Side Effects
Your skin may look worse for the first few weeks that you use Epiduo before you start to see any benefits. It’s likely to make your skin peel and become dry and red. Your acne may worsen, too. These are side effects, but they are normal, short-term responses to the drug.
Epiduo Gel is the only antibiotic-free topical acne treatment with a fixed dose combination of 0.1% adapalene and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. It comes in a convenient pump and helps clear up the breakouts you have now and helps prevent future pimples from forming.
You‘ll need to apply it over all of the areas where acne is a problem, not just on individual pimples. In this way, you may be able to stop breakouts before they occur. Epiduo works on the face but can also be used to treat breakouts on the back, neck, or other parts of the body.
