Kanye West’s performance at the forthcoming Grammy Awards has been axed as a result of the rapper’s internet insults. Due to his use of an abusive slur towards Pete Davidson, the rapper was also banned from Instagram. Trevor Noah reacted to Kanye West’s Grammys suspension with a powerline line on Twitter on Sunday.

The host of The Daily Show seemed to imply that he has no beef with the rapper. “I said counsel Kanye, not cancel Kanye,” Noah remarked in a tweet. The comic seemed to imply that he was dissatisfied with West’s exclusion from the Grammy Awards. While West’s close friend and collaborator The Game stated that Noah, who will host the Grammy Awards this year, may have been the reason for Ye’s suspension, Trevor’s new tweet suggests otherwise.

It all started after Trevor talked on The Daily Show about the ongoing turmoil involving Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, and Kanye West. Kanye had posted an Instagram with an insulting phrase underneath the comedian’s photo in response to Trevor’s statements on the show.
